Marketplace
How results are ordered
What decides the order of the cars you see on the Carnoat marketplace. No car is placed higher because someone paid for it.
The main parameters
- Your filters first
- Only cars that fit every filter you set are shown: make and model, years, price, mileage, distance and the rest.
- Then the order you choose
- Best match, newest, price, mileage or distance. You can change it at any time; the choice applies to every car alike.
- "Best match": the documented history
- The Verification Score, which counts only what documents prove, puts the best documented cars first. Between equal scores, the car offered most recently comes first.
- A described search
- When you describe what you want, it becomes filters you can see and change; how closely a car fits your description decides among equally good matches.
- Discreet cars
- A discreet car is compared on ranges and on its region, never its town. A private car never shows.
No paid placement
Sellers and dealers cannot pay to rank higher. A paid open listing only lets a car be shown openly; it does not move it up.
